Hyderabad: The run-up to the November 30 elections could be wet, with the IMD indicating rain in Hyderabad and many districts. While the storms have already begun in some of the districts, the capital city can expect sporadic showers.
A western disturbance resulted in northern regions of the state experiencing powerful storms. The impact is expected to extend further in the coming days, and could reach Hyderabad.
The IMD issued warnings for light thunderstorms and light to moderate rain in several districts and winds gusting to nearly 40 kmph.
