Students union leaders demand TS govt to fill up vacant posts
KURNOOL: Teacher aspirants and student union leaders staged a protest demanding the state government to address various employment-related issues, in the city on Saturday.
The union leaders urged the government to conduct a mega District Selection Committee to fill up 50,000 vacant teacher posts, increase the number of group-1 and group-2 posts, as well as fill more than 20,000 vacancies for sub-inspectors and constables. And they highlighted the need to fill 21,000 vacant positions in various gram/ward sachivalayam offices across the state.
They emphasised the importance of issuing notifications to fill all vacant posts in different departments and providing employment opportunities to the unemployed population. They specifically called for the establishment of new industries in Nandyal district to generate employment opportunities for local youth.
All India Youth Federation leaders Lenin Babu, Naga Ramudu, Nandyal district president Ranath, DYFI leaders Ramudu and others participated.
