Vijayawada: Telugu Desam senior leader Yanamala Ramakrishnudu introduced a political resolution at Mahanadu by saying that their party supremo Naidu’s cash war was meant for the elimination of poverty and to provide political equality.
He said that late CM N.T. Rama Rao brought in change to promote Telugu self-respect while Naidu came up with second-generation reforms and claimed that their party was having the capacity to bring political change in the state.
He said that NTR was instrumental in setting up the National Front while Naidu too played a key role in forging the United Front where they had an upper hand to decide which leader should become Prime Minister.
He said that TD’s main objective was to dethrone the ruling YSR Congress government from power and help the poor belonging to SC, ST, and BC, minorities to become rich.
Alleging that Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy was hiding huge amount of money in bunkers set up in Idupulapaya, he opined that if black money was brought out, it would help no role of money in the elections.
Yanamala Ramakrishnudu said, “We will take the right decision on political alliances at an appropriate time.”
