BJP’s Raja Singh, MRPS chief visit victim’s family, cops move accused out.

Hyderabad: Tension prevailed in Mahmoodbagh, Agapu-ra, after a 21-year-old who had gone missing was found dead in the Hussainsagar on Wednesday.

Relatives of the victim, Birju Madiga. lod-ged a complaint with the Habeebnagar poli-ce and alleged that the family of the neighbours might have kill-ed him. BJP Gosha-mahal MLA T. Raja Singh visited the area and consoled the bereaved family.

With Mr Singh’s arrival people started to gather, but police swung into action and asked him to leave the place. Police shifted the accused family members late in the night to a safe place.

It is learnt that on Sunday after the wedding of his sister, Birju Madiga sat in front of his residence and in a drunken condition, while speaking on the cellphone, he entered into his neighbour’s house unintentionally and called out to a girl in the neighbour’s family, purportedly considering that she was like his sister.

After finding out about the incident, neighbour Feroz and others beat him up. Family members of Birju said later that the deceased had apologized for the act. On Monday, another person Srinu asked him why he had done it.

Feeling embarrassed, Birju left the place in a few minutes.

Family members said they were not aware about who was with him when he left the place. Birju’s body was found in the Hussain-sagar on Wednesday.

Madiga Reservation Porata Samiti president Manda Krishna Madiga also visited the bereaved family and demanded a comprehensive inquiry. He demanded that stringent action should be taken against Arbaz, Kareem, Feroz and Haji.

“Even if they did not kill him, then they were responsible for his suicide,” he said. Mr Krishna also demanded that the MIM leadership prove their love and affection towards Dalits by delivering justice to the deceased and ensure the arrest of culprits.
