HYDERABAD: Reacting quickly to a developing situation, the Union home ministry on Tuesday decided to provide security cover to Huzurabad BJP legislator Etala Rajendar with immediate effect.
Rajendar’s wife Etala Jamuna had earlier on Tuesday alleged that BRS MLC Padi Kaushik Reddy had given a Rs 20-crore supari to killer gangs to eliminate her husband. Rajendar had also reiterated the allegations later in the day.
The Union home ministry decided to provide a ‘Y’ category security cover to the BJP MLA. The Y category cover provides detail of eight personnel, including one or two commandos and police personnel.
