HYDERABAD: Around 200 CRPF veterans took part in a rally organised at the CRPF Group Centre, at Chandrayangutta here on Sunday. Flagged off by CRPF Director-General Dr. Sujoy Lal Thaosen, the rally went from the CRPF camp to Charminar and returned.
After the rally, the DG interacted with the veterans heard their grievances, and encouraged them to avail the benefits they were eligible for. “I am happy to be a part of this event and looking at all these veterans is truly an inspiration,” he said.
During the rally, veterans were provided free medical consultations by doctors of the CRPF Composite Hospital. Thereafter, a grievance redressal session was organised. The veterans were also briefed about financial and other allied benefits that they were eligible for.
