Kurnool: A railway gate in Kosigi in the district was damaged when a tractor collided with it, leading to significant traffic disruption.
Devotees heading to Urukunda Eeranna temple faced severe difficulties due to the incident on Sunday. However, upon receiving the information, the police promptly arrived at the spot and managed to clear the traffic.
It was found during the inquiry that the railway gate operator was negligent in ensuring smooth movement at the gate, and the incident has been reported to the station master in Kosigi, who recommended action against the gate operator to the authorities.
