Visakhapatnam: Education minister Botsa Satyanarayana on Saturday evening inaugurated in Vizianagaram an exhibition-cum-sale of commodities made by women's associations across the country.
The exhibition at the Mansa Grounds adjacent to local tank bund road is titled Akhil Bharat DWCRA Bazaar.
The exhibition has about 250 stalls, selling quality and diverse products. The exhibition will formally open on Saturday and continue till November 8. The stalls will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
NABARD, MEPMA, State Bank of India, SIDBI, Union Bank of India and other organisations are supporting the exhibition.
Exhibits and sales products include bamboo products, spices, carpets, dry fruits, artificial jewellery, and handloom and jute products. There are also food stalls.
There will be entertainment programmes for visitors and children during the period of the exhibition.
