Installation of five idols at Jain temple celebrated over three days 

HYDERABAD: Around 30,000 people of the Jain community offered prayers to the idols of two thirthankaras, Lord Adinath Bhagwan (charan paduka), Lord Neminath (charan paduka) and three saints installed at the Dadawadi Jain Mandir in Karwan on Monday.

The ‘Pratishta Mahotsav’ started on Saturday, and ended with the consecration of the main idol on Monday. The temple, in white marble, is over two centuries old and spread across seven acre.

The temple authorities said that the consecration ceremony of the idols of the two thirthankaras and Dada Kushal Gurudev, Bhomiya Maharaj and Padmavati was done over three days.

Convener Sushil Sancheti said that the event took place under the advice of the auspices of Acharya Abhaysenji Marasaab, who communicated the teachings of Lord Mahaveera to devotees.

Co-convener Praveen Jain Nahata said, “Most of the devotees took part actively.”
