PAP Government Will Fulfil All promises by February: Dy CM

Visakhapatnam: Deputy Chief Minister and Vizianagaram district incharge minister Budi Mutyala Naidu said that the promises Chief Minister Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy made to people during his padayatra were left out, would be fulfilled by February-end.

Speaking to reporters at Nellimarla in Vizianagaram district after inaugurating development works worth Rs 5.81 crore on Thursday, the Deputy CM said a festival-like event would be organised during the unveiling of the 125-foot-tall Dr Ambedkar statue in Vijayawada on January 19.

“From Sankranti onwards until the day of the unveiling of the statue, teams would be sent to villages to spread the ideology and mission of Dr Ambedkar,” Mutyala Naidu said.

He said five members from each of the sachivalayams across the state would be sent to participate in the unveiling ceremony. They would be taken by buses from their places of work, he added.

Earlier, Mutyala Naidu toured the Nellimarla constituency along with local MLA Bandukonda Appala Naidu and Vizianagaram MP Bellana Chandrashekar.

He inaugurated trhe Nabard-funded community health centre, which was built at cost of Rs 3.95 crore in Sundarapeta in Bhogapuram mandal and Bhaskar Pushkarani work at a cost of Rs 75 lakh at Srirama Swamy temple in Ramateertham in Nellimarla mandal.

Prior to that, Mutyala Naidu, MLA Appala Naidu, and MP Chandrashekar visited the Srirama Swamy temple and offered special prayers. Later, Naidu inaugurated the Urban Health Centre at Jarjapupeta in Nellimarla town, which was built at a cost of Rs 1.11 crore. Senior health and revenue officials were present at the programme.
