ANANTAPUR: Governor Abdul Nazeer on Friday visited Lord Kodandarama Swamy Temple in Vontimitta followed by Pedda Darga at Kadapa on Friday.
The Governor arrived at the Kadapa Airport in the morning and proceeded to Vontimitta. Temple priests received him and offered ashirvachanam at the Ranga Mandapam. TTD joint executive officer Veerabrahmam presented Nazeer a portrait of Lord Srirama and gave him the prasadam.
Temple priests briefed the Governor about the history of Vontimitta temple.
In the afternoon, Nazeer proceeded to Kadapa Pedda Darga by road, where he offered chadder. Darga seer briefed him about the background of Ameen Peer Seer’s Darga.
Deputy Chief Minister Amzad Basha, Governor’s secretary Ashokkumar Singal, Kadapa collector V. Vijaya Ramaraju and YVU vice chancellor Prof. Ranga Janardhan were among those present.
