Hyderabad: Flights delayed as airport put on manual mode
A technical snag was detected at the ATC due to which the departure schedules were not being reflected.
Hyderabad: The Rajiv Gandhi International Airport was put on manual mode by the air traffic controller due to a technical snag in the system, resulting in flights getting delayed by five to 15 minutes from 6 pm to 9 pm on Tuesday.
A technical snag was detected at the ATC due to which the departure schedules were not being reflected. The ATC therefore shifted to manual mode to ensure that the operations were smoothly carried out.
The glitch was limited to departure schedules and did not affect aircraft in the air.
The switch from machine to manual mode led to slight delays in the flight departures. The system was restored by 9 pm, an airport official said.
