HYDERABAD: Earlier today, the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) South West, alongside central forces, orchestrated a flag march in the Shahinayat Ganj Police Station area, setting the stage for the upcoming Telangana elections.
In a proactive move, as many as 3000 central force personnel arrived in Telangana to collaborate with the state police for election duties. The Election Commission's directive emphasizes their role in addressing law and order concerns, especially in sensitive areas and during vehicle checks to seize cash.
Simultaneously, district police conducted flag marches in sensitive areas alongside Central forces to raise awareness among the public and deter any untoward incidents during the upcoming elections.
