NCC Girl Cadets Trained to Use Weapons, Read Maps
Hyderabad: The National Cadet Corps (NCC) conducted the Annual Training Camp-XIII for girl cadets at the Bison Training Ground from December 18 to December 27.
The training encompassed various military subjects, including weapon training, map reading, field craft/battle craft, and leadership.
Throughout the camp, the cadets took part marching drills, cultural events, tent pitching, military history sessions, cyber security discussions, disaster management, lecture cum demonstrations on various subjects, and sports competitions.
Eminent guest lecturers with vast experience and expertise in their respective fields, provided exposure to the cadets on stress management techniques, waste recycling techniques, adventure activities, and career counselling.
Under the leadership of Commanding Officer Col. Pradeep Kumar, along with his dynamic team consisting of one Adm Officer, seven associate NCC officers, two girl cadet instructors, and 25 military and civilian staff, the NCC cadets were effectively managed and guided throughout the training camp.
