HYDERABAD: Telangana government’s startup incubator has on Friday announced the second edition of its flagship T-Innovation Summit, scheduled to be held on July 6.
The programme, called "Gladiators of the Mind”, brings together three of the most extraordinary names in science -- Paleoanthropologist Louise Leakey, from Kenya, Neuroscientist Anil Seth from United Kingdom, Mathematician, Sir Marcus du Sautoy from UK -- on one stage for an electrifying evening of ideas and innovation.
Innovate Telangana is aimed at discovering and accelerating the most promising startups from the state with access to Incubation Support, Value partners, Angels / VCs, Mentors, and Grant Support.
By nurturing innovative startups and providing them with the necessary boost at various stages through the 6Ms & 2Ps, the initiative aims to foster a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in the state.
The event is to be held across 33 districts and spread over 120 days, across 5 pitching clusters – Sircilla, Nirmal, Warangal, Medchal, and Jogulamba Gadwal.
As many as 800 startups are expected to take part in the district-level events with their cutting edge solutions to solve regional, national and global lever problems.
In the final leg, the top 10 startups will be invited to the starup incubator for a grand ceremony followed by incubation under different programs.
IT and Industries & Commerce Minister K.T. Rama Rao will be the chief guest at the event and accompanying him would be IT and IC Principle Secretary to deliver the welcome address. Dastango writer and performer Mahmood Farooqui, will all be performing the Dastan-e-Karn az Mahabharata at the event.
