State Police Has Made Arrangements Of TSPSC Group-4 Exams
HYDERABAD: The TS Public Service Commission said it had completed arrangements to conduct the written examination from July 1 (Saturday) for recruitment into Group-4 services.
The commissions said 9.51 lakh candidates had applied for 8,180 posts, and would take the test in 2,878 examination centres.
Commission officials have held a review meeting with district collectors, senior government and police officials, according to a statement.
The exam will have two papers: Paper-1 general studies from 10 am to 12.30 pm and Paper-2, secretarial abilities, from 2.30 pm to 5 pm. Officials will close the exam centres gates 15 minutes before the commencement of each examination.
In a statement, the TSPSC said it had sent instructions to the candidates in the form of SMS with regard to ‘double bubbling’ in the OMR sheet.
The commission has appointed an identification officer at each centre to help verify candidate details. Police personnel will frisk the candidates before entry.
Invigilators have been trained to verify the candidate's identity by examining the hall ticket, photo in the identity cards and nominal roll.
Schools and colleges which have been nominated as centres for the Group-4 recruitment examination will have a holiday on July 1. Education secretary Vakati Karuna also told district collectors that supplementary examinations in polytechnic colleges scheduled for July 1 had been postponed.
State Technical Education and Training Council secretary A. Pullaiah said in a statement that the examination to be held on July 1 will be held on July 15, a press release issued by TSPSC stated.
