HYDERABAD: Two friends died on the spot when their two-wheeler rammed into the traffic roundabout a ECIL crossroads in the early hours of Sunday. Kushaiguda police said the incident occurred at 4.45 am when the rider applied brakes suddenly while turning and hit the structure.
Police said G. Kranti, 33, was riding the bike while his friend K. Naresh, 23, was in the pillion seat. Their bike skidded and rammed into the basement. They suffered head injuries and died on the spot, Kushaiguda inspector B. Praveen Kumar said.
They were in a high speed heading from Moul Ali to their house in Kapra when the accident occurred, police said. Kranti was employed with an electronics chain and Naresh had completed his graduation. Kushaiguda police registered a case and shifted the bodies to Gandhi Hospital for post-mortem.
