DCP Sreebala excels at sports meet, felicitated
HYDERABAD: Director-General of Police Anjani Kumar on Tuesday felicitated Rachakonda DCP, road safety wing, B. Sreebala for winning medals in badminton and table tennis at World Police and Fire Games held from July 28 to August 6 in Canada. She was the only participant from the state police.
Anjani Kumar said it was a proud moment for the law enforcement community, made possible by Sreebala’s exceptional commitment and hard work. ADGPs Abhilasha Bisht (sports) and Sanjay Kumar Jain (law and order) also congratulated Sreebala.
Over 8,000 athletes representing law enforcement agencies, firefighters, and police officers from more than 70 countries competed in 60-plus sports.
In table tennis, Sreebala won silver medals in women's doubles 40+, mixed doubles 40+, and bronze medals in women’s singles 40+.
In badminton, she won gold in women’s singles 40+ and bronze medal in mixed doubles 40+.
