TIRUPATI: Six new members of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) trust board members on Wednesday.
TTD joint executive officer (JEO) V. Veerabrahmam administered the oath of office to them in the sanctum sanctorum of Lord Venkateswara.
The newly sworn-in members are Karikal Valaven, special chief secretary (Endowments), Sidda Veera Venkata Sudheer Kumar; Yellareddigari Sita Rama Reddy; Balasubramanian Palanisamy; R. Venkata Subba Reddy; and Siddavatam Yanadaiah.
Following the oath-taking, the members received Veda Aseervachanam at the Ranganayakula Mandapam. The JEO presented to them Teertha Prasadams and laminated photos of Srivaru, symbolising the divine blessings of the Lord.
Speaking on the occasion, new member Sidda Sudheer Kumar expressed his gratitude to AP Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and pledged his commitment to elevating devotee-friendly amenities in Tirumala.
