HYDERABAD: The last day for submitting applications for the TS Eligibility Test (TS SET) 2023 has been extended to September 4 without a late fee, according to the revised schedule issued on Tuesday. Candidates can register with a late fee of Rs1,500, Rs2,000, and Rs3,000 on or before September 10, 18, and 24 respectively.
The edit option will be available on September 26 and 27. The date for hall tickets to be downloaded from the website remains the same —October 20 —and the tests will be held on October 28, 29 and 30. The TSSET is being conducted by Osmania University, on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education.
TSSET determines the eligibility of candidates for appointment as assistant professors in universities and colleges. Candidates who appeared for the final year examination of their master’s degree and are awaiting their results are also eligible to apply for the exam.
Paper I of the test consists of multiple-choice questions on general awareness, teaching aptitude, and research aptitude, and Paper II consists of multiple-choice questions on the subject chosen by the candidate at the time of application.
