Goddess Lakshmi Avatar Adorned with Lavish Offerings at Kanyaka Parameswari Temple

Visakhapatnam: In a magnificent display of devotion and opulence, the idol of Goddess Lakshmi, revered as the embodiment of wealth, at the renowned Sri Kanyaka Parameswari temple in Visakhapatnam, was adorned with an exquisite array of offerings on Tuesday.

The occasion marked a highlight during the 10-day Navaratri festival, where various incarnations of the temple’s idol were worshipped.

The deity, known as Lakshmi Avatar, received an awe-inspiring adornment of 6 kilograms of gold, an astonishing sum of Rs 2 crore in cash, and an additional 6 kilograms of silver.

The opulent offerings reflected the deep devotion and financial contributions made by about 200 devotees who flocked to the sacred shrine. The temple itself boasts a rich history, spanning an impressive 146 years.
