Andhra Pradesh sees Covid-19 spike with 82 cases in 9 days
Visakhapatnam: Andhra Pradesh grapples with a resurgence of Covid-19 cases, with 82 infections reported since December 20, according to state health officials. The concerning trend was revealed during a briefing today by the health and family welfare department.
In the past 24 hours, from Thursday 8 am to Friday 8 am, the state conducted 546 RT-PCR tests, identifying 21 new cases across districts. NTR district emerged as the hotspot with eight cases, while Krishna, Visakhapatnam, and Srikakulam reported three each. Anantapur and Guntur recorded one case each, while Kurnool saw two infections.
