Visakhapatnam: Vanajangi hill, a popular tourist destination in the region, will be temporarily closed from January 2 to 9 in order to facilitate restoration activities.
The decision to close the hill for a week has been conveyed by the district collector Sumit Kumar. The initiative aims to address pollution concerns and maintain the site's pristine beauty. During the closure period, activities
such as the removal of plastic waste, stones, bushes, and road repairs will be carried out.
In light of the temporary closure, the district collector has advised tourists to refrain from visiting the Vanajangi Hill during the specified period.
