Modi: Govt Focus To Better People's Lives
NEW DELHI: Every decision of the government has been guided by the desire to improve the lives of people, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on completing nine years in the “service of the nation”, on Tuesday.
"Today, as we complete nine years in service to the nation, I am filled with humility and gratitude. Every decision made, every action taken have been guided by the desire to improve the lives of people. We will keep working even harder to build a developed India," the Prime Minister tweeted.
In another tweet, the Prime Minister shared a web link showcasing the
development journey under the government in the past nine years. He invited
all to visit the website and witness how people have benefited from various government schemes.
“Nine years of unwavering dedication to the nation’s growth. I invite
everyone to visit the website http://nm-4.com/9yrsofseva to get a glimpse of our development journey. It also provides an opportunity to highlight how people have benefited from various government schemes," Modi tweeted.
The Prime Minister also shared articles written by former president Ram Nath
Kovind, Union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman and external affairs minister S. Jaishankar on nine years of Modi-government.
Meanwhile, the BJP has planned a month-long campaign to celebrate the ninth anniversary, with various mass connect programmes. Modi is scheduled to address a rally in Ajmer, Rajasthan on Wednesday.
Senior BJP leaders, including Union ministers and Chief Ministers, had on
Monday highlighted the government's achievements.
From India's "rising" global stature to the emphasis on national security,
welfare measures like housing and toilets for the poor, a boost to piped
water supply, infrastructure growth and efforts to ramp up the manufacturing
sector were among the initiatives cited at press conferences held
in every state of the country.
