Hyderabad cop saves worker's life by giving him CPR

Minister Harish Rao is all praises for Madhusudan, ACP Traffic, for performing CPR on a man who collapsed due to heart attack at Begumpet

Hyderabad: P Madhusudhan Reddy, ACP Traffic, Hyderabad city, rescued a construction worker by giving CPR at Begumpet. The construction worker identified as Gujjalla Ramu, 40, has been shifted to Gandhi hospital and is currently recovering. He is said to be out of danger, police said.

On Wednesday morning, when Madhusudhan Reddy was at Begumpet on bandobast, he saw a passerby collapsing. Reddy rushed to him and started CPR, as his team assisted him.

Meanwhile, an ambulance arrived at the spot and shifted him to Gandhi hospital for further treatment. Inquiries revealed that Ramu hailing from Srikakulam of Andhra Pradesh migrated to the city for livelihood and was residing at Begumpet.

In the morning when he was on his way to work, he developed a pain in the chest region and collapsed. Timely assistance from Reddy saved him.

Sharing a video of the CPR on X, Minister T Harish Rao wrote, “ Highly appreciate the timely efforts of Madhusudan Reddy Garu, ACP Traffic, North Zone, for performing #CPR on a man identified as Ramu who collapsed due to heart attack at Begumpet. The patient was shifted to Gandhi Hospital soon after and he is now safe. Learn CPR and save lives.”
