Kurnool: The Srisailam Devasthanam Trust Board convened a meeting on Wednesday to further enhance facilities for devotees. The board approved 39 resolutions, including the construction of a drinking water overhead tank with a capacity of 5 lakh litres at Hathakeswaram.
A double road from Mallamma Kanneeru to the dump yard, as well as cottages and choultries at Mallamma Kanneeru, were also approved.
Other resolutions included the purchase of a cleaning machine estimated at '30 lakh, the construction of drainage from Aurobindo guest house to Fonic guest house with a budget of '55 lakh, and the installation of stainless-steel grills for Arjitha Seva queue lines at a cost of '39.90 lakh.
The board also decided to arrange electrical illumination during the Dasara festival days to enhance the festive ambiance.
The meeting was presided over by chairman Reddivari Chakrapani Reddy. Devasthanam executive officer S. Lavanna, Srisailam MLA Silpa Chakrapani Reddy, and other trust board members participated.
