Several Areas in Hyderabad Face Water Supply Disruption Over Flyover Construction
Hyderabad: Drinking water supply will be interrupted to some places in the city for 24 hours from 6 am of January 3, the water board said on Sunday.
These areas include Miralam, Kishanbagh, Al Jubail Colony, Santoshnagar, Vinaynagar Colony, Saidabad, Chanchalguda, Asmangadh, Yakutpura, Madanapet, Mahbub Mansion, Riyasathnagar and Aliabad in the Old City.
In the central part of the city, water supply will be interrupted in Narayanguda, Afzalgunj, Adikmet, Shivam Road, Nallakunta, Chilkalguda and Bogulakunta. In the eastern part of the city, the supply will be interrupted in Dilsukhnagar and Bonglur.
The water supply is being interrupted to facilitate the construction of the ramp of the proposed flyover connecting Nalgonda crossroads and Santoshnagar.
