Hyderabad: The city cybercrime police teams have identified the IP number of the server from where a hacker attacked the X (Twitter) account of Governor Dr Tamilsai Soundararajan. The Governor's X account was accessed through unauthorised means on January 16.
The IT manager of the Governor on January 17 lodged a complaint with cybercrime police about a series of suspicious activities that promoted concern in Raj Bhavan.
The Governor had received a communication alert from the X technical support team pointing out a violation of the platform rules that was attributed to the tweet of her official account, police sources disclosed. The display picture (DP) was removed and an attempt to login with an incorrect password was made, police sources disclosed.
