JS Corporator Accuses CS of Grabbing Lands; CS Denies Charges
Visakhapatnam: Jana Sena corporator Peetala Murthi Yadav has accused Chief Secretary K.S. Jawahar Reddy of trying to grab 400 acres of lands assigned to scheduled and backward classes in north Andhra worth ₹1,000 crore in the name of his son.
He demanded that the Central Bureau of Investigation probe the land grabbing charges against the AP chief secretary.
The chief secretary has denied the charges. In a press statement, he termed the accusations baseless and false. Jawahar Reddy maintained that neither he nor his family members or relatives have purchased any assigned land in Visakhapatnam and its surroundings.
The CS has demanded an apology from the Jana Sena corporator. He warned that appropriate action will be initiated against Murthi Yadav if no apology is issued.
