Khammam: Forest department officials on Monday arrested a person for illegal hunting of wild animals at a reserve forest at Kacharam of Yerrupalem mandal of Khammam district.
The alleged poacher, Martha Srinu, 50, from Kacara village was carrying two kg of sambar deer meat and some snares, according to district forest officer Siddharth Vikram Singh.
