Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Exit Polls Today Polling is underway for the seventh phase (final phase) of the Lok Sabha which will end at 6 PM. The Election Commission of India prohibited sharing the exit polls till the live voting ended. The media organizations and other pollsters will release the exit polls after 6:30 PM.
The exit polls will be more looked out for in the Telugu states. Both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana went to polls on May 13. In AP, there is a strong contest between the ruling YSRC and NDA which includes Chandrababu's TDP, Jana Sena led by Pawan Kalyan and BJP.
In Telangana, after winning the assembly elections, the Congress would hope to win a good number of seats in LS Polls too.
The exit polls will be out for 543 Lok Sabha seats, where the majority mark is 272, and also for 175 assembly seats in AP where the party needs to have at least 88 seats to form the government.
In 2019, YSRC won 151 seats, TDP 23 seats and Jana Sena 1 seat.
