Pune: In a shocking incident, a woman fell into a 100-feet deep gorge while clicking a selfie at Borne Ghat in Satara district, Maharashra.
The woman was rescued by a Home Guard and fellow mountaineers.
The incident took place on Saturday evening and the video of the woman being brought safely out of the gorge has gone viral on the social media.
The woman was rushed to the hospital and her condition is stated to be stable now.
This comes after 26-year-old travel and lifestyle influencer Aanvi Kamdar died after falling into a 300-feet gorge while recording a video near the Kumbhe waterfall in Raigad district of Maharashtra. She embarked on a trip to the waterfall with her friends on July 16.
