MG Comet Blackstorm hits the road at Rs 7.80 lakh
Automaker major JSW MG Motor India on Wednesday introduced the Blackstorm edition of the Comet EV.

Pune: Automaker major JSW MG Motor India on Wednesday introduced the Blackstorm edition of the Comet EV. The MG Comet Blackstorm EV is priced at Rs 7.80 lakh.
Besides this, the customers have to pay Rs 2.50 per kilometre, if they opt for the Battery-as-a-Subscription (BaaS) program.
Customers can book the car by paying a token amount of Rs 11,000.

We are delighted to launch the Comet Blackstorm that promises to enhance everyday commute by infusing style and sophistication,” said Rakesh Sen, Head of Sales at JSW MG Motor India.
The MG Comet Blackstorm is the new top-end variant and now comes with four speakers, featuring a starry black exterior with dark chrome and black badges.
The vehicle has an all-black interior with red accents, and leatherette seats with ‘Blackstorm’ embroidery.
The Comet Blackstorm edition is powered by a 17.4 kWh battery that delivers a company claimed range of 230 km on a single charge. It has a single electric motor with an output of 41 BHP and 110 Nm.
MG launched the Comet EV in India in August 2023. According to the company, the sales increased by 29 per cent in CY2024 over the previous year.
