Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao Orders Inquiry Into District Cooperative Officer Simhachalam Over Graft Allegations

Nizamabad: Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao directed that an inquiry be conducted against district cooperative officer (DCO) Simhachalam on the charges of graft. Simhachalam has been working as DCO for around seven years, during which time there were irregularities in the running of primary agriculture cooperative societies (PACS). Political leaders and PACS members had complained to the minister against Simhachalam. The cooperative department transferred the official and attached him to the head office. Srinivas of Adilabad was posted as the district cooperative officer for Nizamabad.
