MP: Drunk Men Broke Into a Woman's Apartment, Assaulted Her, and Brother

After listening to the screams of the 20-year-old, her brother (Cousin) came out of his room and confronted them. They called some accomplices, beat up the brother, and threatened the two.

At around 1:30 am, the two men entered the woman's flat to beat her brother.

As the event was reported to police, they arrived at the scene. But the accused persisted in threatening the brother in front of the authorities. However, the local police station, Ayodhya Nagar, was understaffed at night as per reports, and lacked female officers to properly handle the woman's case.

According to TI Mahesh Lillare, the woman works in the private sector and her cousin is pursuing a B.Tech degree from a private college. The attackers Abhi and Avi, are the neighbors of the woman and they had some disputes going on with her brother.

A case has been filed by the Ayodhya Nagar Police against the accused, including the charges of molestation.
