Bhopal: Union minister and senior BJP leader Jyotiraditya Scindia and Congress veteran Digvijay Singh on Tuesday filed nominations for Guna and Rajgarh Lok Sabha constituencies in Madhya Pradesh respectively.
Both the leaders held road shows after filing their nominations.
Chief minister Mohan Yadav, former chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and former minister Narottam Mishra were present when Mr Scindia filed nomination.
Similarly, several senior Congress leaders including state party president Jitu Patwari were present when Mr Singh filed his nomination.
Both Mr Scindia and Mr Singh addressed public meetings after filing nominations.
