Naidu says TD, Sena Manifesto Will be Ready Soon

Visakhapatnam: Telugu Desam president N. Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday disclosed that the TD and Jana Sena alliance manifesto will be released soon.

Addressing a public meeting as part of his “Raa... Kadali Raa” programme at Mandapeta in Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema district, he asked cadres of both TD and JS to launch a vigorous campaign against the ruling YSRC.
Naidu cautioned the cadres of the two parties against overconfidence, but campaign vigorously against the misrule of YSRC government for the next 81 days.
Asserting that Jana Sena and Telugu Desam government will usher in a Golden Era in Andhra Pradesh, he underlined that all sections of the society are unhappy with the Jagan Mohan Reddy government due to its dictatorial rule.
The TD chief underlined that even the Reddy Community is not happy with the government, as their businesses, like rice mills, poultry farms and aqua sector, are incurring great losses due to the policies of the present government.
He declared that once the Jana Sena and Telugu Desam government is formed, corruption charges will be registered against the present MLAs, ministers and YSRC leaders, who have been involved in various irregularities. He assured that cases registered against agitators during YSRC’s rule will be lifted. He pointed out that 6,000 cases have been booked against SCs while 108 of them have died following harassment.
The former chief minister said their government will bring a BC Protection Act and properly utilise funds under the SC Sub-Plan to uplift Dalits. He maintained that the then Telugu Desam government introduced English medium 23 years ago and promoted the Information Technology sector, which has helped many rural youth get jobs in US and other countries.
Addressing a public meeting earlier in the day in Araku Valley, Naidu alleged that bauxite is being mined in the name of laterite in ASR district agency areas. He emphasised that his government promoted Araku coffee, which has won accolades at the global level.

The TD chief said YSRC cheated tribals and deprived them of their benefits. He said the YSRC government quashed GO 3, which ensured 100 per cent reservation for tribals in teachers’ posts in agency areas.
He assured that the TD-JS government will revive GO 3 after coming to power in the next elections.
