Congress buying time by issuing White Paper: BJP
Hyderabad: Former MP and BJP leader Boora Narsaiah Goud said the Congress was buying time by issuing White Paper. The BRS left the state with a debt of Rs 6.32 lakh crore but the BJP has not drawn any political mileage though it gave Rs 9 lakh crore for the state.
Warning the people to be wary of these parties, he said, “Of the '9 lakh crore given by the Centre, the Modi government spent more than '1 lakh crore on highways in the state. This has led to increase in land value across the state which the then BRS government gloated about as a result of these roads. We have given the new government 100 days’ time to deliver on its promises.”
“The previous government did not lay a single big road on its own. It was the Centre which facilitated loans to electric corporations Transco and Genco but the BRS did not give us due credit. The people are looking towards the BJP and are set to give us all the 17 Parliament seats. I call on all parties to attend the Ram temple opening on January 22 as Rama is a God for all sections of people,” he said.
