Tamil Nadu Congress Committee seeks essentials at fair price shops
Thirunavukkarasar appealed to the Union Govt to exempt Tamil Nadu from NEET as it would affect more than 9 lakh students of Tamil Nadu.
Tiruchy: Tamil Nadu Congress Committee president S.Thirunavaukkarasar said that the Congress will agitate across the state unless state government arranges supply of essential commodities as usual through fair price shops.
Addressing a press conference at Tiruchy airport on Tuesday, he wanted the Tamil Nadu Government to seek a legal remedy over the NEET examination, as it would affect the future of rural area students of Tamil Nadu.
He appealed to the Union Government to exempt Tamil Nadu from NEET as it would affect more than 9 lakh students of Tamil Nadu. He strongly condemned the Union Government for neglecting Tamil Nadu in sanctioning drought relief fund from its National Disaster Management Fund.
