Laxman hits out at KCR, KTR
HYDERABAD: Dr K. Laxman, BJP parliamentary board member and Rajya Sabha member, on Saturday said that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao and his family members should share the secret of earning money with the jobless youths of the state.
“Around 30 lakh youths, who are eagerly waiting for jobs through the Public Service Commission, will benefit if the Kalvakuntla family discloses the secret behind their amassed wealth,” he said.
Speaking to reporters here at Shyama Prasad Mookerjee Bhavan on Saturday, Dr Laxman, the BJP OBC Morcha chief, said that a comparative study of the wealth of the Kalvakuntla family before coming to power in Telangana and after that should be done.
“The Chief Minister and his minister-son K.T. Rama Rao have no moral right to criticise Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” he said.
“The BRS had made several election promises including unemployment allowance to the youths, interest-free loans to women members of self-help groups,” Dr Laxman said adding that however, the Chief Minister cheated the youths. “Vacancies in universities too not yet fulfilled,” he said.
Hence, in order to divert the attention of people from unfulfilled poll promises, Rama Rao criticises the BJP government at the Centre, he said.
“We will expose the corruption of the Kalvakuntla family in Parliament,” Dr Laxman said. “Congress leaders Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and K. Jana Reddy have hinted at a possible alliance between Congress and the BRS. The secret pact of Congress and BRS will be exposed soon,” he said.
