Govt Grabbing Lands To Serve Interests Of MNCs: Bhatti
HYDERABAD: CLP leader Bhatti Vikramarka accused the BRS government of highlighting investments brought in through TS-iPASS and then giving away valuable land worth lakhs of crores belonging to MNCs on a platter.
In such a gloomy situation, people have nothing to cheer as the state celebrates its tenth foundation day, he said while addressing the media at Avusatikunda in Atchampeta constituency on Thursday.
The credit for the state formation went to Congress former president Sonia Gandhi and June 2 should be observed as a thanksgiving day for her, he added.
Flaying the BRS for manipulating people and creating illusions, he said that promises are made and projects are announced when elections are round the corner.
“Though it was more than four years back that they assured to complete Chennakesava and Umamaheswara lift irrigation projects in Atchampeta, the government is yet to acquire land for the purpose,” the Congress leader said.
He ridiculed that bureaucrats like Somesh Kumar, who conceived schemes like Dharani to grab poor people’s land, are being appointed as CM’s advisors
TPCC senior vice-president Mallu Ravi said that Bhatti’s padayatra to bring about awareness and changes was getting tremendous response from people.
