Hyderabad: The national spokesperson of the BJP, Zafar Islam, said on Wednesday that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi talks of recovering Rs one lakh crore from Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao but in reality, family-based parties like the BRS, Congress and AIMIM are together into corruption. They all are separate just for namesake but their agenda is to enrich Rahul Gandhi.
Addressing the media at the party headquarters here, he said, “When Rahul talks of probing corruption by BRS it’s a joke.
Congress is using BRS as its sleeper cell for its corruption. They put up a fight just to fool people. Will Rahul ask KCR for a probe into the vote for note case in which his PCC president Revanth Reddy is involved? KCR was in the UPA government Cabinet and they are together in corruption. They make allegations against each other to project themselves as different entities but are only interested in enriching their first families. There were even talks of the merger of BRS in Congress. But they did not do so as it would have exposed them and opened the gates for the BJP.”
The BJP leader said that Chandrashekar Rao has not kept his promise on jobs. “Congress has sent its MLAs to the BRS. What secret understanding was behind this move”, he asked.
The Congress is responsible for the deaths of 1,200 youths. “Who is responsible for these deaths. Will Rahul take responsibility? Money and MLAs are being supplied to the BRS by the Congress. We don’t tolerate corruption and will teach them a lesson”, Zafar Islam said.
