Naidu says many YSRC MLAs in touch with him
VIJAYAWADA: Telugu Desam chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday said many MLAs from the ruling YSR Congress are in constant touch with him. But he has presently put them on hold, the former CM underlined.
Interacting with media persons at the TDP office here, claimed that YSR Congress legislators are now being treated as slaves. They want to emerge from their slavery. The TD chief declared that the people of the state are ready to send Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy home. “People are only waiting for elections to throw Jagan out of power,” he underlined.
Naidu described former minister Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy’s murder as one of the biggest suspense thrillers that even fiction writers cannot imagine. He maintained that there is not a single case in the country with so many twists.
The TDP supremo felt people of Andhra Pradesh will lose confidence in institutions if this murder case is not resolved and criminals not punished. He accused Jagan Mohan Reddy of being a highly corrupt leader in the country. He said the CM is not the representative of poor as he is claiming, but a representative of criminals.
On recent MLC elections, Naidu said people have voted against YSR Congress and Jagan Mohan Reddy’s rule. He declared that TDP is getting ready to defeat YSR Congress in all 175 assembly seats in the next general election. He wanted the rank and file of his party, besides people of the state, to get ready for packing up YSR Congress and sending it out of power.
“People are totally unhappy with the functioning of Jagan government,” the former chief minister underlined.
The TDP chief demanded resignation of education minister for Botsa Satyanarayana, taking responsibility for YSRC’s debacle in graduate MLC constituencies.
The TD supremo made it clear that his party will stand by YSRC MLA Dr. Vundavalli Sridevi, who is being harassed by her own party.
The former CM strongly condemned the attack on BJP leaders.
