Case registered against B.TEch Ravi over threat to realtor
ANANTAPUR: The Chakrayapeta police registered a case against Pulivendula TD leader and former MLC, B.Tech Ravi, and his aides over their alleged trespassing into a venture and destroying the plots in Surabhi village in Chakrayapet mandal of YSR Kadapa district on Monday.
Two persons were arrested while Ravi gave a slip to the police.
According to realtor Venkata Subbaih, a group of realtors purchased land and developed plots at Nagala Gutta area in Surabhi village in Chakrayapeta mandal under Pulivendula assembly segment. B.Tech Ravi, Chakrayapet TD mandal incharge Maheswar Reddy and their followers reportedly rushed to the spot in 20 vehicles on Sunday and destroyed the fencing with tractors.
Venkata Subbaiah said they purchased land based on documents but B.Tech Ravi and his aides threatened them with dire consequences. “we developed the site to start a venture with full legal documentation. But, TD leader Maheswar Reddy with support of B.Tech Ravi is threatening us by claiming that a part of the land was their own,” he said.
Police registered a case based on the complaint from realtor Venkata Subbaiah and launched a search for the arrest of the TD leader.
