BRS failed to provide jobs to women: Congress
HYDERABAD: Mahila Congress president Netta D'Souza on Tuesday alleged that the BRS government had failed to provide employment for women and youth since it came to power nine years ago.
Speaking at the Telangana Mahila Congress general body meeting at Gandhi Bhavan on Tuesday, Netta called upon women to work for strengthening the party’s activities, especially with regard to women-related issues. The State Mahila Congress cadre and leaders must fight against the BRS government which was implementing anti-people's policies.
"When the Congress was in power, Telangana was formed keeping in view of people's sentiments. After statehood, Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao started duping the people. We must educate women and people on the government failures," Netta said.
