MRPS Calls for 'Chalo Delhi' to Demand Bill on SC Categorisation

HYDERABAD: Demanding the introduction of a Bill in Parliament regarding SC categorization during the special Parliament session scheduled from September 18 to 22, Manda Krishna Madiga, the founder president of the Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi (MRPS), called for a 'Chalo Delhi' protest. They plan to stage a protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi.

Speaking to the media on Saturday, Manda Krishna Madiga announced that a special Parliament session is slated to take place from September 18 to 22.

"I request all political parties in the Telugu states to lend their support to the introduction of a Bill on SC categorization. MRPS leaders will stage protests at Jantar Mantar to exert pressure on the government and all political parties. Prime Minister Narendra Modi promised us SC categorization. We also call upon AICC President Mallikarjuna Kharge to support the introduction of the Bill," stated Manda Krishna Madiga.

On September 18, thousands of MRPS members will participate in the 'Chalo Delhi' program, and members from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Tamil Nadu will attend a dharna at Jantar Mantar. Similar protests will occur at all mandal headquarters across states, organized by MRPS members.

On September 19, Madiga professors, intellectuals, and employees will partake in a protest program at Jantar Mantar in Delhi. MRPS cultural teams, writers, and poets will participate in protests on September 20, 21, and 22 at various locations in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
