Kalaburagi: IT-BT, Rural Development, and Panchayat Raj Minister Priyank Kharge has issued a stern challenge to the BJP's national organizing secretary, BL Santhosh.
In response to recent claims that 40-45 MLAs were in contact with the BJP leaders, Minister Kharge declared that the Congress government in the state was unshakeable.
"We will give time, not for a day, but for a month. Let them try to shake our government," he declared, dismissing the BJP's claims of engineering defections within the ruling party.
The challenge from Kharge came in response to BL Santhosh's recent claim that 40-45 Congress MLAs were in contact with him.
Kharge continued his attack on the BJP, posing a new challenge.
"Above all, can the BJP appoint the leader of the legislature party and the leader of the opposition in the upper house within a week? Do they have the courage to accept this challenge?" he questioned.
