Andhra leaders want to merge TS into AP, says Gangula

KARIMNAGAR: BC welfare minister Gangula Kamalakar declared that certain leaders of Andhra Pradesh are eagerly waiting for an opportunity to merge Telangana again into their state.

He was speaking after participating in several developmental programmes and laying the foundation for a women society building at Bommakal village in Karimnagar district on Sunday.

Kamalakar alleged that leaders of neighbouring Andhra like Y.S. Sharmila, K.V.P. Ramachandra Rao and N. Kiran Kumar Reddy are waiting like cats to pounce on Telangana. If BRS government does not come back to power in the forthcoming assembly elections, they will definitely merge Telangana into Andhra Pradesh.

The minister maintained that opposition leaders who robbed Telangana have come onto one platform and are trying to seize power from BRS. “These leaders have more than 20–30 cases against them in police stations. People should reject such leaders and their bosses in Delhi. They are ready to spend ₹5–10 crore in the coming assembly elections. If people vote for rulers from Delhi, they will take away the power and coal from Telangana,” Kamalakar warned.

He advised people to prefer Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, who is continuing to strive hard for welfare of people belonging to all sections in the Telangana state.
