Nara Bhuvaneswari to observe one-day hunger strike in protest of husband\'s arrest

Kakinada: Nara Bhuvaneswari, the wife of former Andhra Pradesh chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, will observe a one-day hunger strike on Monday from 10 am to 5 pm in protest of her husband's arrest. The hunger strike will be held under the banner of "Satyameva Jayathe" at the Market Area near the quarry zone in Rajamahendravaram, East Godavari district.

Meanwhile, on Sunday, many Telugu Desam (TD) leaders and cadres observed fasts in their respective areas in East and West Godavari districts. TD Kakinada district president Jyothula Naveen Kumar undertook a padayatra from Irripaka to "China Tirupati" (Sringara Vallabha Swamy temple). Former MLA Jyothula Nehru participated in the padayatra.
