YSRC schemes removing hunger, tears, poverty: Dharmana
VISAKHAPATNAM: The district administration on Wednesday organised its Gadapa Gadapaku Mana Prabhutvam programme in Wadada panchayat of Gara mandal.
Participating in the event, minister Dharmana Prasada Rao maintained that the state government’s schemes are reaching each and every household of the eligible.
“Haven’t these schemes reached even those who did not vote for the YSRC party in the last election,” he asked.
The minister went on to say that even if people do not vote for YSRC in the coming elections, even though they may not display YSRC flag over their rooftop, schemes of YSRC will continue to reach the.
“Our government has designed schemes for removal of hunger, tears and poverty,” he maintained.
Prasada Rao pointed out that YSRC has been ruling AP for past four-and-a-half years, as people have voted for it. “State government has implemented every promise it made before the election. We are holding the Gadapa Gadapaku programme to know your opinion. We have provided investment assistance of ₹13,500 to farmers. We have made radical changes in public education. We have changed the syllabus to equip students in preparing for the future competitive exams” he stated.
The minister criticised TD leader Nara Lokesh for terming Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy as crazy. “The CM is bringing about a change in the lives of people. He is providing good education to poor children. TD did nothing for the poor when it was in power. Now, TD leaders are crying over Jagan,” he remarked.
Dharmana's son Ram Manohar Naidu, mandal YSRCP president Pisa Gopi, DCMS chairman Gondu Krishnamurthy, MPP Gundu Raghuram and sarpanch Sunkhana Suresh were among those present.
